SUMMARY:Get Lit! at Salon du Livre de Montréal 2021
DESCRIPTION:(French follows) \nOnce again this year\, the Association of English-language Publishers of Quebec and the Quebec Writers’ Federation will participate in the Salon du livre de Montréal. During the fair at Palais des congrès\, they can be found at booth 1304 under the banner “Get Lit” where they will present books by over 100 Quebec writers and 40 Quebec English-language publishers\, available for purchase through the Montreal-based Paragraphe Bookstore. As part of the Salon dans la Ville\, they will also offer English and bilingual activities\, both online and in person. The Salon du livre is proud to welcome English-language publishers and writers from Quebec\, reflecting Montreal’s linguistic diversity. \nTickets are available on site\, though it is strongly suggested to procure them before to avoid line-ups. For kids 12 and under\, please purchase a (free) ticket as well. Vaccination passports\, photo ID\, and masks will be required to enter. Children over the age of 5 must wear a mask\, and all over the age of 13 must show proof of vaccination. Buy a ticket\, or visit the Salon’s website for more information. \nOur kiosk will remain open for the entirety of the Salon du Livre. That is\, Thursday to Saturday from 9 AM-9 PM\, and Sunday 9 AM-5 PM. See below for our full author signing schedule! \nLa langue anglaise s’invite au Salon\, avec AELAQ et QWF \nCette année encore\, AELAQ (Association des éditeurs de langue anglaise du Québec — Association of English-language Publishers of Quebec) et QWF (Quebec Writers’ Federation) participent au Salon du livre de Montréal. Lors du Salon au Palais des congrès\, ils occuperont le kiosque 1304 sous la bannière «  Get Lit  » où des livres de plus d’une centaine d’écrivain(e)s québécois et de 40 maisons d’édition québécoises de la langue anglaise\, tenus par la librairie montréalaise Paragraphe Bookstore\, seront présentés.
