Lucky enough to be able to distance himself from the Hungarian revolution in 1956, Ivan Feherdy was grateful to have the chance to come to Canada. His walk down memory lane covers over six decades as he and his family build their lives in and around Montréal. Some of these memories evoke our shared experiences, Expo 67, the Storm of a Century, the ’76 Olympics, time at the cottage. Ivan’s words are accented with his Hungarian roots, his family life, their travels, his warmth and kind heart.
